When it comes to my summer wardrobe, I’m all about staying cute and cool. Since it gets so hot, its easy to just throw on anything and go. Sometimes you can end up looking like a hot mess literally. This is why have personal summer fashion rules. Just because its hot, doesn’t mean I can’t be cute and cool. One of my summer fashion must haves is a white dress. I’ve never shopped the Vera Wang pieces at Kohl’s before. I was curious as to how well her pieces would fit. Just a couple of years ago she added plus sizes to her Kohl’s line. This sleeveless white shirtdress is super comfortable. It comes with an attached white lining under it. It has cutout details on the shoulder and skirt hem, and it has a banded waist. I love how it flares out at the hips.
My second summer must have are wedges.While I love me a good sassy heel, I think wedges are a nice option. Especially for day time looks. Wedges are comfy and can be sexy when you find a pair that flatter your feet. I found these blue leopard print styles from Fergalicious at Kohls.
My next summer fashion must have is a pair of cool sunglasses. I love these blue aviators from Elle.
During the summer, I also like to keep my makeup simple. So, a nude matte eyeshadow palette is definitely one of my must haves. Even a bold lip color like Lorac’s luxe lip color in scarlet creates a sultry summer look.
