Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I am super duper excited to finally debut episode 2 of Chic Style Edit Presents Refine My Style. You guys showed us so much love on episode 1. We are almost at 2,000 views. The first episode was truly a trial run and it opened up the doors for us to do episode 2. We took your feedback from social media and we stepped our game up. We were able to get a small budget for episode 2 and we were able to show you more of the process of refining the look of our guest.
In episode 2 you will meet Nijah, a teacher from Jersey. Nijah saw the first episode and hit us up on Facebook asking how to be part of the series. She was already stylish but she wanted to take her look to the next level by adding bold colors and prints. We took Nijah to the Lane Bryant store Downtown Brooklyn, NY and shopped their two level store. We came up with some great looks for Nijah from dresses and shorts to wide leg pants. Checkout how we refined Nijah’s style.
Subscribe to our Youtube channel HERE and don’t forget to THUMBS UP the video and SHARE it. Let’s try to get this video to 5,000 views.
I honestly hope you guys like it. Leave a comment below and let us know.

This is how Nijah looked, when she first came to the studios
and below are the different looks we gave her
Lane Bryant Pleated One Shoulder Dress
I want to give a MAJOR shoutout to the Lane Bryant team from Headquarters to the Downtown Brooklyn Store. They sponsored all of Nijah’s outfits and allowed us to get footage in the store.
What I wore on Episode 2
For episode 2 I wore this Adrianna Papell dress gifted to me by one of our readers Erin Glassco. I had been hunting down this dress (sold out) and when I posted it on Facebook, She mentioned she had one but no longer wanted. She gifted the dress to me free. OMG! I squealed. So thank you so much Erin Glassco. The shoes I wore with the dress are from Steve Madden. I finished off my look with a necklace and bracelet from ASOS Curve.
The hairstylist and makeup artist for the episode was Courtney Foster (below middle) of Cofo Beauty. You can book her at www.styleseat.com/courtneyfoster
And thank you Nijah so much for being part of episode 2. You’re a beauty inside and out.
