Hey curvy girls all over the world,
We are ending off this Wednesday with Chic Style Edit of the day. We have Tanya who is representing Charlotte, NC.
When it comes to embracing her curves, here’s what she had to say:
I embrace my curves by loving myself, and trying to be the best me and not anybody else. I accept all the great things about myself and all my flaws.
Having a 13 year old daughter who is very curvy and constantly watching me, pushes me to be confident and fabulous on the inside and the outside, so that she will love herself and not seek approval from others about her body.
However, I wasn’t always this confident and accepting of myself. A couple of years ago I was in a difficult place in my life and my appearance reflected how I felt. It used to make me extremely anxious while going out, or meeting new people. The occasional consumption of cannabis from a bong that can be purchased from the likes of fat buddha glass or similar companies would help me bring my anxiety down, but, my damaged self-esteem would ensure that those negative feelings came back.
A girlfriend of mine told me I didn’t have to be sad and depressed, I could be fabulous, and once I realized that I had a choice I changed me for the better.
I started a blog http://thelifeoftano.blogspot.
