Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Over the years I’ve gone through a number of styles and trends. Some worked out wonderfully and other looks should be abolished into the abyss forever and ever. No matter how many trends come and go I remain true to about 5 looks which I like to call my signature looks. Most girls my age are drawn to edgy fashion forward styles. I love them too but found that they work best for me when I incorporate a piece or two into my general outfits.
When I think about my own personal signature style, I know that a cropped leather or biker jacket is a must for me. My style falls more on the classic sophisticated side so a leather jacket is that piece that gives my looks a little edge and it’s a much needed break from the usual suspect, the blazer.
I own about four leather jackets and I love to rock them with skirts and a simple tee or over a girlie dress. It’s my version of going edgy. This weekend the weather was unseasonably warm. I decided to reach for my draped faux leather jacket (that every blogger has) and rock it with a red jersey knit pencil skirt that I got from Bloomingdale’s. To keep things low key I went for a striped black and white tee and my suede ankle boots.
I love the color combo of red, black, and white. I find the combination to be quite striking. I also like to wear gold jewelry with black and red so I went for my cutout cuff , shoulder sweeping earrings, and my oversized Michael Kors watch. Gold jewelry can really make a statement with your outfit, it can add some glitz and glamour without being too flashy, so if you think that gold jewelry would work with what you are wearing, whether you are going out for a meal or to a wedding, give it a try on and see how it looks at pulling your whole outfit together.
This is an ensemble that I dub one of my signature looks.
What pieces make up your signature style/looks?

I love this outfit!!! You look great!
Living in New Mexico I’ve adapted to the style here and its become my signature. No matter what I wear there is always alittle southwest some where. Either in color, stones, shoes.

Absolutely LOVE this look! I feel like the cropped leather jacket is one thing I’m missing. All of my leather jackets are too heavy to wear in doors. As far as my style staples.. hmm good denim skinny jeans are my staple item, but I’m trying to push myself outside of them.

Very stylish and classic!
If I had to choose, I would say a nice buttondown shirt with a bely around my waist, jeans and a cute pair of wedges are my “go to” items.
