STYLE JOURNEY: POLKA DOT CHIC

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
For a classic girl like me, polka dot dresses (polka dot anything) are a must in my wardrobe. They remind me of the 50’s, especially, if I find a fit and flare style like the one I’m wearing.

There’s just something so classy and chic about a black and white color combo on a retro style. No, it’s not groundbreaking, but I have a genuine appreciation for classic styles and color combinations.

Last year, I was gifted this dress by Evans for FFFWeek. However, the dress didn’t come in time so, I thought this spring/summer would be the perfect time to break it out. I did wear it last year with a denim jacket and pink heels for a somewhat dressed down look (see here), but, this time, I wanted to wear the dress as it was with minimal extras.

Of course, I love my pops of colors so I teamed the dress up with my yellow ankle strap heels, black and white lace clutch, and my nearly deteriorating patent leather belt.
It’s such a girly dress. I could twist and turn in it all day.

    Lover of polka dots as well but it is hard to find the right fit of the print but I did just purchase the polka dot dress F21 had…Love this look on you!!!!
