Hey curvy girls all over the world,
This weekend was such a beautiful weekend weather wise. I spent my whole weekend outdoors. Saturday, I headed to the movies to take my little love love to see the animated movie Epic. For the occasion, I broke in my denim bermuda shorts from JCPenney. I can’t tell you how much I love the fit of these bermuda shorts. For those of you that don’t know, JCPenney actually has cute plus size clothes but you wouldn’t know because they don’t really advertise to their plus size customers.
I ordered these denim shorts and a knit one button blazer with a giftcard that was given to me for Mother’s day. I ordered a size up, as I always do when it comes to bottoms because the struggle is real when it comes to having a big butt and a gut. The shorts have a little stretch and the denim is surprisingly soft. I seriously wanted to wear them everyday this weekend. These are definitely SC approved.
Checkout how I rocked them. I love a denim on denim look and the shorts went perfect with my denim shirt from Old Navy and my camel colored ankle strap platforms from Vince Camuto.
I accessorized with my Aldo shades, Orange fashion to figure bag, and my Michael Kors watch, accompanied by a Forever21 bracelet, hoop earrings, and ring.

okay let me go check that out because target made some cute shirts that don’t have buttons but have a pretty seen down the middle. If they made a demin shirt like that I would be so happy!

I feel you. I carry cellulite in my thighs but that’s why I like Bermuda shorts. I feel like it gives me the option to wear shorts at my comfort level. I can roll it up or down depending on my confidence level for the day. LOL
