Hey curvy girls all over the world,
The shop like a fashion editor challenge is almost over. I must say it has truly been a challenge every month to come up with a shopping strategy and stick to the budget. For the month of April I decided to take it easy and lay low from the stores and online shopping. I managed to purchase just 2 items with my shopping budget.
When shopping, I’m always thinking about work clothes. I’m at work most of the time so I like to have a number of pieces that I can mix and match. When I graduated college my mom always told me to buy clothes that I could wear to work and on the weekend and that advice has always stuck with me and on a few occasion that advice had me looking like I was going to work on the weekends. So, that’s why my strategy this month was to find non-traditional trousers that were chic enough for the office and cool enough for the weekend. I found these super cute pleat front peg leg trousers from ASOS and they are great. I love the slouch fit and the neutral blush color.
Spring is also the perfect time to start updating my shoes. I thought these python sandals from Calvin Klein were so sassy and would be the perfect item to punch up my evening lounge hopping escapades. I was also quite proud that I got them on sale at Lord & Taylor’s marked down from $150 to $79.99 and then I used a gifted VIP coupon which brought them down to $62. I love a great deal.
I’ve already worn both of these items and you can check them out in my previous outfit posts Here (Pleated pants) and Here (Python Sandals).
Stay tuned to see what I purchase this month.
