Summertime is the perfect time to revamp or upgrade your look. After 3 months of winter, I think we could all use a change in our looks when the warmer weather arrives. Transitioning from winter to spring and then from spring to summer means we are wearing less and less clothes (in a good way). We are shedding heavy wool coats and spring jackets.Summer is all about showing a little skin, staying cool, and looking fabulous with less.When it comes time to get ready for summer, I’m all about smooth moisturized non-greasy looking skin.
In order to upgrade my dry winter skin and get it ready for summer, I shave my legs and arms (yes, I have hairy forearms) to prepare for smooth moisturized summer skin. Since summer is only a few weeks away, I checked out the Schick Hydro Silk(R) water activated moisturizing serum razor. Since I nix all of my main makeup buys, I rely on bold colored lipstick to keep my look new and easy. Personally, I like pinks and berry colored lips because it flatters my complexion, but every now and again, I will dabble in orange or red lips. This summer, 3 colors will be in heavy rotation.
