PERFECT COMBINATION

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
It’s very rare that I go a day without blogging. When I do, that means my full time job has taken over my personal time. If you’ve noticed, I haven’t blogged since Wednesday and it partially had to do with work and it partially had to do with me considering if I should continue blogging. I really needed the time off to step back and decide whether or not to continue. For now, I will, because I have obligations and partnerships. So, next week, hopefully I will be back with regular posts. Sometimes you just need a break from things to realize how important it is to you or how much you miss it.
I thought I would share with you today’s outfit. It’s all about color blocking. My favorite trend of the year. I created my look with this ruffled collar top from Avenue via Jessica London and this purple pencil skirt from Faith21 Plus. I completed my look with a pair of Fuchsia peep toe pumps from BCBG and gold bracelets from Loft and Ashley Stewart. I love the color combination of the rich purple and orange and you already know that I am a sucker for ruffled tops.

    Meanwhile, I sincerely hope you continue blogging. You do a great job. I get excited whenever Chic Style Edit appears on my Blogger Reader. I like the content and also your outfit posts. I completely understand about taking a step back to figure out if all of THIS is worth it. I went through that phase about a month ago. During the time I took away from the blogsville world, I came to realize how much I truly, genuinely enjoy it. From posting to commenting to reading other blogs. I enjoy it all! I hope you get back to the swing of things soon.

    I love the blog so hope that you continue. I would be content with 1 or 2 posts per week if that would help – I don’t know how the bloggers w/fulltime jobs find the time!

    @Juliette-Thanks so much. When it comes to blogging and fashion I see so much stuff that I want to share or show people how to get that it winds up taking over me. However, I think 1 or 2 is pretty reasonable.
