Hey there curvy ladies,
It’s that time of the year again. Our annual spring shopping guide is HERE!
The cold weather is finally starting to break and it’s time to start shopping for those pieces that you’ve had your eyes on for a while. Trends are extremely important when adding new elements to your wardrobe. A trend does adds more style and personality to your classic pieces. What exactly is a trend? A trend is a fashion statement that last from 6 months to 3 years. A great example of a fashion trend is peplum. Trends always come back around. Don’t be surprised when something you wore 10 years ago comes back into style.
We tried to make your job easier when shopping this spring, so checkout our annual spring trend shopping guide.

Now, let’s get into these plus size trends.
Gingham
Gingham is probably one of the most freshest trends to hit the fashion scene this year. It’s a nice break from plaid.
Forever 21 Plus Gingham Shirtdress
Utilitarian
ASOS Curve Military Cape
Suede
So, it seems like the fashion world is over leather for spring and have now turned their eyes on to suede. It’s another refreshing trend that will definitely work well for spring. Try pairing suede with a soft light weight knit sweater.

Shirtdresses
Pair you shirtdress with a cute pair of booties, denim jacket, and a chunky necklace. This look is perfect for hanging out with the girls and brunch with the boo.
Yellow
This trend is definitely not for the faint of heart. This is a color that screams hear I am and I’m not afraid to be seen. If you want to tone down the yellow pair it with white or black.
Black & White
In my opinion I see the black and white being more than a trend. Infusing two of the most popular colors together and can be worn with everything. A black and white dress is perfect to wear to work with a pink pair of heels and your favorite blazer.
Fashion To Figure Inline Piped Bodycon
Culottes
If you were born in the 80’s you remember culottes being very popular. Well they are definitely back in style. Pair your culottes with platform sandals and a printed top for work wear.

Strappy Flats
The instant the weather breaks, you can wear your flats without any stockings or socks. Flats are instinctual for your spring/summer wardrobe. Pair your circle skirt, denim jacket, printed top and strappy flats. This is look is perfect for walking your city and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Polka dots
I personally love polka dots because they are so fun. You can pair them with everything. If you want to be daring you can match them with leopard, florals and stripes. You can never go wrong in a polka dot sweater, boyfriend jeans, and leopard flats.
Stained Glass Prints
I know as plus size women we tend to shy away from prints because we feel it maybe too much for our curvy bodies. But you never know unless you try and I say break the rules. This season, stained glass prints are back and we are loving it.
Platform Sandals
These are a repeat of the 60’s and 70’s. They are so fun to wear and can dress up any casual outfit. Platforms are a lot easier to walk in as well. Pair your favorite skinny jeans, bright colored blazer and striped top with your platform heels. This look is perfect for a date night or networking event but don’t forget to bring your flats along.
