Today Allure magazine in partnership with Maybelline hosted a beauty breakfast (post coming soon). Whenever I go to conferences or luncheons I like to go business chic. I feel like it says she’s stylish and professional. So for today’s events I decided to wear black. Now, I love black just like the next person but I prefer color. However, when I was deciding what to wear today the letters LBD popped up in my mind.
I wore a super chic black shift dress gifted to me from Simply Be. The dress is part of their new Bespoke line. A collection of pieces that are sophisticated with a little edge. The Bespoke line is very classic and form fitting.
What drew me to this dress was the leather accented waist. I loved how the dress hugged my curves. The material is a heavy jersey fabric but it felt more like a thick ponte knit.
I accessorized with my grey suede perforated pumps from Enzo Angiolini, silver plated necklace from Forever21, black and silver link earrings from Ashley Stewart, and my Alexis Bittar bracelet.
