I have to be extremely honest with you. I am slowly but surely becoming a beauty junkie. If you follow me on Instagram (@stylishcurves), you will see my weekly or sometimes daily beauty buys. My beauty weakness is lipsticks. I have bought every pink and purple colored lipstick that I could find. Lord knows I do not need anymore. Since I am a budding beauty junkie and lipstick lover, I jumped at the opportunity to team up with a few beauty bloggers for a little makeup collaboration.
One of my blogger boo’s and beauty guru, Danielle of “The Style and Beauty Doctor” came up with this cute idea of getting 6 bloggers with different complexions and skin tones to try the same color lipstick and blush. Danielle is always trying to get women of color to embrace bright lips and blush, so she wanted to show how one shade of lipstick can work for a number of women whether they are fair skin or have a deep complexion.When it came to finding a beauty brand that catered to all women, the Milani cosmetics team was so kind and gracious enough to sponsor this collaboration by sending us 4 lipsticks and 1 blush.
We all tried their statement lipsticks and unanimously, we all agreed that Milani Cosmetics Matte Baked Powder Blush in Bella Rosa and Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Best Red looked perfect on all of our skin tones.

Blush: Milani blush with Nars Contour Blush in Paloma on top. Paloma is dual sided with a highlighter on one side and “blush” that’s so dark I can use it as a bronzer on the other. The highlighter I use on the top of my cheekbone and blend up with the bronzed blush. And use it over the Milani and around my face to warm up the look.
