While we are still weeks away before it’s officially spring, my little fashion heart is craving warm weather pieces. I am officially over winter even though we had a pretty warm winter. When it comes to shopping for my spring wardrobe I like to ease into things. I always start off with simple transitional pieces like a fun and flirty skirt. Skirts are such an easy piece to take you from season to season.
Plus size skirts this season are coming in all shapes and prints. At one point, full midi skirts were the hottest trend. This year, plus size brands are creating much more unique styles ranging from fringe to asymmetrical cuts. Don’t get me wrong, midi skirts are still popular but I am glad to see more styles than just that. A girl needs variety. While doing some pre-spring shopping, I came across quite a few snazzy plus size skirts that would work perfectly for transitioning into spring.
Right now, I am completely obsessed with this multi striped midi skirt. It is one of those pieces that you could rock now with a classic trench coat for work, a denim jacket on the weekend, or a basic white tee to just chill and relax.
