Hey there curvy ladies,
I’m not sure what the weather is like where you live, but in NYC there is a serious heattwave. It is too hot to wear layers or even pants. This is the weather when you show off as much skin as possible. The goal is to be as cool as possible at all times. It doesn’t matter if you are just lounging around at home sipping on your orange mimosa (you can find out more about a few recipes by going online), or if you are hitting the town, it is important that you don’t get too warm, as this could have severe consequences on your health.
While I like to keep as cool as possible by wearing beautiful choices of clothing, my friend prefers to achieve this by having her air conditioning on full blast. I mean, you can’t exactly blame her, especially when you are experiencing a heatwave. I am sure this heatwave would be compelling many homeowners to turn to reputed AC Repairs and tune-up experts. Certainly, some of us aren’t meant for warm weather, me included. Although the last time I spoke to my friend, she mentioned that she was having trouble with her system because it wasn’t blowing any cold air. She told me she was looking to have it repaired by a company that specialized in air conditioning (for information, get it here) in the hopes to get it fixed in time for the heatwave. So, I hope she’s remembered to do this, as she will be too warm to do anything else otherwise.
She could always follow my lead, of course, and wear different types of clothing that can help to ensure that we all feel cool during this summer heatwave. Maxi dresses are perfect with there light-weight fabric and many different options from sheer lace, high-low. or backless. You can never go wrong in a big floppy hot to protect your face from the sun. Your favorite sunglass and sandals are perfect to keep you cool yet cute. Like Alissa says this heat is a great time for “Breaking All The Rules” so show off your legs in a pair of short shorts.
What do you wear do you wear to stay cool? How do you beat the heat?

You know, I’m really not a hat person, but these extreme temperatures have forced me to become one and I must say – the big, floppy hat is giving me all kinds of life!!

I love that maxi dress. I love that it plays shows leg but is a full length and plays with a combination of short and long.
